FAQs

  • Since every individual is unique and has different needs and goals, PT sessions will look different for each person. Treatments are intended to address headaches, dizziness, visual complaints, exercise intolerance and school or work intolerance.

Your session will include time with Dr. Brown to review your current symptoms, tolerance to activities and review any questions you have on your home program. Interventions will be selected for each session based on your progress, goals and current symptom presentation. Home exercise programs will be progressed and altered at each session.

  • No, unfortunately the standard insurance model does not allow Reboot Concussion Recovery to provide the necessary individualized care required to treat our patient population. We are considered an out-of-network provider. Not taking insurance allows us to provide individualized care based on where you are in your recovery and not dictated or limited by your insurance company.

You can utilize your HSA or FSA accounts for payment. Reboot Concussion Recovery can also provide a “Superbill” invoice to submit to your insurance upon your request. In order to figure out your out-of-network benefits, please call the Customer Service number on the back of your insurance ID card. Please note that every insurance company is different and we can not guarantee reimbursement.

Therefore PT can address deficits related to a concussion whether your injury is 1 week ago or 5-10 years ago and beyond.

  • In addition to Massachusetts, Dr. Brown is a licensed Physical Therapist in Idaho, Utah and Washington State and is able to provide PT services for individuals residing in those states.

If you reside outside of the states listed above, please consider looking at the Reboot Wellness Program. This program is intended to bridge the gap between traditional therapies and returning to your passions. This program is available anywhere you reside!
